It's Here. And I Ugly Cried.

You Hear It Here First

I need to tell you something.

I've had two publishing moments before this one. The first — The HideAway — was overwhelming in the way only a first time can be. The second — Probably Nothing — came three months after a stroke, and I was still in the middle of surviving when it released. Both of them mattered more than I have words for.

But this one. This one.

The Chronicles of Reaper XIII: Harmony is officially available for pre-order. And when my first copy of the full color paperback arrived for approval, I snot-nosed ugly cried while yelling and jumping around the room. I am not even a little embarrassed about that.

This is the book I have been building a world for. The one with the stone-born chronicler who narrates from centuries in the future. The one with Serelith — the thirteenth reincarnation of a woman whose death broke the world. The one with a magic system and a mythology and a map and character art and three — yes, THREE — versions for you to choose from:

The e-book. The black and white paperback. And a full color bonus paperback edition that made me cry on sight.

I'll be honest with you — I still get imposter feelings sometimes. That quiet voice that says who do you think you are? I'm working on it. I have people in my corner who help me remember that the work is real, the world is real, and I built it.

The stone remembers. This is Volume Thirteen.

Pre-order links are live right now on the homepage at irish-rivers.com. Book 2 — Sarmarsa — is already being mapped out.

We're just getting started.
